Cancellation Policy

1. Pricing Our pricing is based on a transparent, one-price policy to ensure fairness for all clients. We believe in clear, upfront communication regarding costs. 2. Booking Deposit A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to secure your booking. This ensures your date is reserved exclusively for you. 3. Currency and Area of Service All prices are quoted in Japanese Yen (¥). Our standard pricing applies for photography services within the Kyoto area. For services outside Kyoto, the same pricing applies, with the addition of transportation and accommodation fees. 4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy We understand that life can be unpredictable. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your photoshoot, please notify us as soon as possible. Please note that cancellations are subject to the terms outlined below: Deposits are non-refundable. Once a booking is made, the time slot is held exclusively for you, and we often cannot accommodate other clients during that period. Rescheduling is possible within a reasonable timeframe, subject to availability, and may incur additional fees depending on the new date. 5. Additional Fees Any additional fees, including transportation and accommodation for services outside Kyoto, will be discussed and agreed upon before your booking is confirmed. For photoshoots in Kyoto, a transportation fee of ¥15,000 applies. No additional accommodation fee is charged. 6. Turnover of Edited Photos Studio Meito delivers high-resolution, professionally edited photos within 60-80 days from the date of the photoshoot. Delivery Format: Photos will be provided digitally via a secure online gallery or file-sharing platform. Express Requests: If you require photos sooner than the standard turnaround time, an express fee will apply. Please notify us of express requests before or on the day of the photoshoot to confirm availability and terms. By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
